At Mindful Mates, we make it easy for you to access the support you need, in a way that works for you. We offer a variety of referral pathways to suit veterans, first responders, NDIS participants, workers, families, and the broader community. No matter how you come to us, you’ll receive personalised, compassionate, and professional care.

Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)
Veterans can access services at no cost when referred through DVA. A D904 referral form must be completed by your GP or specialist. This referral covers psychosocial support, case management, and practical assistance. If you're unsure where to start, we can guide you through the process.

NDIS Participants
If you’re an NDIS participant, we can support you under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living. Sessions can be delivered at home, online, or in your local community. We work closely with your support team to help you reach your goals.

WorkCover / Workers' Compensation
If you’re recovering from a workplace injury, your GP or psychologist can refer you through WorkCover. We provide psychosocial support to assist with recovery and return to work.

Private Clients
Self-referrals are welcome. Whether you're navigating stress, trauma, burnout, or simply want to improve your mental fitness, we offer private sessions tailored to your needs. Contact us to discuss pricing and availability.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training – Coming Soon
We’ll soon be delivering accredited MHFA training to individuals, workplaces, and community groups. This evidence-based course teaches you how to support someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a crisis.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
We’re open to partnering with EAP providers to deliver short-term, confidential support for employees. If you're an organisation or worker seeking EAP services, reach out to discuss how we can help.

DVA Rehabilitation Plans
If you're on a DVA rehab plan, psychosocial services and case management may be covered under your support program. Speak with your DVA rehabilitation consultant about referring to Mindful Mates.

We accept referrals from RSL sub-branches, veteran organisations, community groups, and schools. If you're supporting someone who might benefit, get in touch with us.

How We Deliver Support
Our services are flexible and can be delivered in a way that suits you:
